Annapurna Base Camp Trek is also know as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, which combines some of the most spectacular mountain scenery, providing a fascinating insight into the modern hill life of Nepal. This unique trek along local trails, through forests, villages and terraced farmland treats you to unparalleled mountain scenery, surrounded by enormous glaciers giving you an inside experience into the Nepalese life and culture. The trail to Annapurna base camp follows the Modi River and passes through dense stands of rhododendron and bamboo. By the time you reach the large rock over hanging, known as Hinku Cave, you will have noticed that the vegetation has thinned and the gorge narrowed to be only a few hundred meters wide. Steep snow-clad ridges falling from Hiunchuli on the left and Machhapuchhre on the right from the entrance to the Sanctuary. As we pass through the “gate” and enter to the Sanctuary, you find yourself in a huge amphitheater enclosed by a solid wall of snow capped peaks. This trek starts and ends in Pokhara or it can be tailored as part of the Annapurna Circuit or the Jomsom / Muktinath trek, by trekking from Tatopani through Ghorepani and Tadapani and joining the main Sanctuary trails at Chommrong.

ITINERARY

Day 01: Pick up from Airport to Hotel in Kathmandu. Free & Easy to go shopping in Thamel Area.
Day 02: Take Tourist Bus to Pokhara and overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Phedi from Pokhara and heading for Tolka (1700m-5-6Hrs)
Day 04: Tolka to Chhomrong (2210m-5-6Hrs)
Day 05: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m-3.5-4.5Hrs)
Day 06: Bamboo to Deaurali (3140m-4-5Hrs)
Day 07: Deaurali Acclimatization day
Day 08: Deaurali to ABC (4130m-3-4Hrs)
Day 09: ABC to Bamboo (2310m-4-5Hrs)
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinudnda/Hot Spring (1780m-4-5Hrs)
Day 11: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul drive to Pokhara (4-5Hrs)
Day 12: Take Tourist Bus back to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Kathmandu - pick up from Hotel to Kathmandu Airport.

4 Days 3 Nights Kathmandu Sightseeing & Nagarkot Wonderful Trip

Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)

Overnight stay  - Kathmandu

Our company driver will be on standby with our vehicle & a sign-board plaque displaying  your name & company’s name at the Airport to pick you up and transfer you to your Hotel. After check in the hotel, our officer will give you a short briefing about your whole program. Get familiar with your surroundings, take a short stroll down the Thamel area, a most happening place in Kathmandu Valley. Your first overnight at your hotel in the valley of the gods.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Drive to Nagarkot

Overnight stay  - Nagarkot

After breakfast half day sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple which is one of the important pilgrimage for Hindus, lord Shiva is also known as Pashupatinath the phallic structure of lord Shiva is worshipped which is known as Shiva lingha., and Boudhanath is one of the oldest stupas of Buddha which is located in the heart of Kathmandu it is also an important place to visit in Kathmandu valley. Later on drive to Nagarkot and view sunset in the evening. Overnight in Nagarkot.

Nagarkot:  Nagarkot tour offers countryside drive after your couple of days in Nepal. Nagarkot, literally known as ‘the fort of the town’, was army training centre in the past. In the recent years, it is developed as resort village. Located 15 Km far from the Bhaktapur main city and 30 Km east of Kathmandu, it is an ideal place to enjoy hide and seek with the sun. Besides sunrise and sunset view, this is also one of the best places to enjoy the glimpse of mountain range if the weather is clear.

Day 3: View Sunrise at Nagarkot - Kathmandu

Overnight stay – Kathmandu

After viewing sun rise and Himalayas range, Drive back to Kathmandu. Sightseeing in Bhaktapur Darbar Square on the way back to Kathmandu.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square tour : This Square is an open museum holding exciting palace, courtyards, royal bath, sculptures, pagodas, Shikhara style temples and Buddhist monastery along with exclusive architecture. In other words, this is the most beautiful Durbar you visit in your Nepal tours. Though 1934 earthquake brought bad luck to its structure, still the remaining monuments are the finest examples of the medieval excellence. Just near the square, you will visit the traditional painting School, the dying art of Nepal which is the best souvenir from Nepal.  Besides palace complex, five storied temple with most appreciated architecture, the Pottery Square, Dattatraya Square and Peacock window are some other things to see in Bhaktapur.

Day 4: Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, free and free to go shopping in Thamel area, till the flight time, then transfer to airport. Bye bye and sweet home~~

Day 4: Patan Durbar Square – Visiting Tibetan Refugee Camp - Kupondole  Fair Trade Shops tour

After Breakfast, visiting Patan Durbar Square, like its counterpart in Kathmandu, is an enchanting blend of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.

After visiting Patan Durbar Square, walk stroll down to the Kupondole road and visiting some fair trade shops such as Mahaguthi, Dhukuti and etc. Afterwards, going to Tibetan Refugee Camp to Jawalakhel Handicraft Center, which is one of the Nepal’s largest manufacture of carpets with huge collections of beautiful carpets by Contemporary, Traditional and Persian types of designs.

Day 5: Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, free and free to go shopping in Thamel area, till the flight time, then transfer to airport. Bye bye and sweet home~~
